Fall Gratitude

Hello! Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday so far. Yesterday, I received a small order delivered by the wonderful UPS guy. I'm not going to lie...I get pretty excited when I hear that truck pull up in front of my house! :) I finally ordered the Day of Gratitude set from the holiday mini after I saw all of the beautiful projects people were creating with it. For example, I saw this card on SCS and loved all of the fun circles, so that was where I started.

The sketch was based on this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge:
My color combo came from last week's mix from The Color Dare:
(I missed the deadline but it was really a great mix of fall colors)
Color Dare #81
Peach Parfait
Rich Razzleberry
Sahara Sand

I'm also submitting this to the Top Tip Tuesday challenge: Anything Goes.
I think this is my new favorite stamp set! The images are so crisp and clean and they are just perfect for the season. After getting it all together I decided I really wanted to add some pearls to the card to tie together the Very Vanilla accents a little more. I added the 3 pearls at the bottom and then stuck down 2 tiny pearls on each leaf. I think it just added a little extra, somethin' somethin'. :) Of course, I didn't forget to dress up the inside of the card, too. I popped up the sentiment on a punched oval because I wasn't really sure if it is going to end up there permanently or not. It was a fleeting moment of indecisiveness. Thanks so much for visiting, I'd love to hear what you think.

  1. Gorgeous, love the images and the colors, lovin' the pearls that you added on the stems and the card. Ok, just love everything about the card! I agree, about the UPS driver, but I don't as excited as Lucky, he scares the driver.

DUDE - I just made a "Fall" card using this sketch and placed three pearls in the same spot. I can't take pics until tomorrow afternoon but that made me laugh! Maybe there is hope for me yet!!

  11. I like how you took the simple layout and jazzed it up with the addition of the circle elements. Great color combo - it says "fall" but could really be for any time of year.
