Hello! Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday so far. Yesterday, I received a small order delivered by the wonderful UPS guy. I'm not going to lie...I get pretty excited when I hear that truck pull up in front of my house! :) I finally ordered the Day of Gratitude set from the holiday mini after I saw all of the beautiful projects people were creating with it. For example, I saw this card on SCS and loved all of the fun circles, so that was where I started.
The sketch was based on this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge:
My color combo came from last week's mix from The Color Dare:
(I missed the deadline but it was really a great mix of fall colors)
Color Dare #81
I'm also submitting this to the Top Tip Tuesday challenge: Anything Goes.
I think this is my new favorite stamp set! The images are so crisp and clean and they are just perfect for the season. After getting it all together I decided I really wanted to add some pearls to the card to tie together the Very Vanilla accents a little more. I added the 3 pearls at the bottom and then stuck down 2 tiny pearls on each leaf. I think it just added a little extra, somethin' somethin'. :) Of course, I didn't forget to dress up the inside of the card, too. I popped up the sentiment on a punched oval because I wasn't really sure if it is going to end up there permanently or not. It was a fleeting moment of indecisiveness. Thanks so much for visiting, I'd love to hear what you think.Stampin' Up! Supply List:
